Manchester's
bisexual social-support group
BiPhoria is a social
and discussion group for bisexual people and those questioning their
sexual orientation who think they might be bi. We get together monthly
to discuss bi issues, give each other support, share information about
national bi events and groups and to arrange social activities for the
rest of the month.
We meet on the first
Tuesday of every month from 7.30pm - 9.30pm at the Lesbian & Gay
Foundation building, as well as having an active social programme between
group meetings. New members should try and arrive
early for the main group meetings as the space from 730 - 8pm is for new members only.
After BiPhoria meetings
we tend to socialise in Taurus bar
on Canal Street - join us there from about 9.45pm on group nights if
you miss the main get-together.
If you would like more
information, don't hesitate to get in touch. See left for our contact details.
For those of you who
live further afield or perhaps cannot often make it to Tuesday meetings,
we recommend subscribing to Bi
Community News (generally known as "BCN")
as the best way of keeping in touch with the bi movement. Their website
also has excellent links to other bi groups and email networks around
the UK.
